RJ's Comic Picks Of The Week : Giant Size Astonishing X Men #1 & X Force #4

Hey boys!

I feel bad that I started doing the comic picks two weeks ago, and promised that I would be doing it weekly, but then by the second week I had already started slacking.

So, consider this my apology and I am going to start faithfully blogging about my favorite comic books, once a week, from here on out.

My two favorite books this week were Giant Size Astonishing X Men #1 (how is that for a mouthful?) and X Force #4.

Astonishing has been a hit or miss book for me for awhile, mainly because of it's shitty publishing schedule, but this is the Giant Size conclusion to a pretty good story line.

I'm going to be honest and say there were parts of the book that I didn't really enjoy, but there were a few panels, in particular the interaction between Emma Frost and Kitty Pryde, that really made the book highly enjoyable.

"Dissapointed, Miss Frost?"

"Astonished, Ms. Pryde."

Those were two of my favorite lines I have ever read in a comic book in as long as I can remember. A huge smile stretched across my face when I read that! Joss Whedon is truly a dialogue genius. If you are a fan of Kitty Pryde, this is definitly a Must Have, Don't Miss.

My second favorite book this week was X Force #4.

The book has a knack for being edgy, sharp and violent . . . but at the same time emotional and important to the X Men universe.

Angel has always been one of my favorite characters in the X-verse, and what happens to him in this book redefines him (I hope) for a long time to come.

Those of you who were fans of his back in the 80's when he became Apocalypse's Horseman of Death Archangel are going to have a pleasant surprise when you read the new issue of X Force!

It's a good time to be a comic book fan! Like I said the last time I posted my picks, if you're not reading anything, or are looking to get back into comics, these two books are a good place to start!

Have a good one boys.

Behind The Scenes of Logan's Run

Hey boys!

I'm sitting here at an internet cafe in San Francisco since I can't get any wireless signal in the hotel room! It always seems to work out that way when I'm on these trips. . . sucks, huh?

Anyways, this morning I finished my still photos for Logan McCree's project titled "Logan's Run" . . . they are pretty great, if I do say so myself! Kent Taylor and I shot against a white back drop, with nothing but a sleek business room style chair as a prop. The whole photo shoot centered around me and the chair . . . they should turn out really sleek and edgy! I can't wait to share them . . .

Yesterday, I wrapped filming a really hot scene with Luke Hass. Lots of hot kissing, sucking, rimming, and fucking for you guys. . . You should love it! "Logan's Run" is proving to be a really dramatic movie, and I really got into the acting . . . again, I was cast as the boyfriend, just like I was in "Hotter Than Hell". I wonder why they keep casting me as the boyfriend? Someone at the studio said it was because I can pull off cute and innocent pretty well. . . maybe!?

Anyways, here are some behind the scenes photos for you guys. . . I hope you enjoy 'em!

That last one was from running into fellow exclusive Tristan Phoenix in the Castro today. Was a pretty great time seeing him, as I haven't seen him since the last time I was in San Fran filming for "Hotter Than Hell".

Speaking of that 2 Part porn epic, the box art was released today. Check it out below!

As soon as "Hotter Than Hell" becomes available for pre order, make sure you check it out right here on the blog and order your copy. It will most likely be an award nominated and award winning film next year, and it's Steve's baby, so you know I gotta plug my big bro's project! It will be hot for sure!

Alright, and one last goodie for you guys before I head out. Here is another shot from my shoot with Murray Photography. Expect more as the week rolls on. Sound good? Hope so! Later guys. Have a good one.

RJ Danvers Video Interview w/ Damien Crosse

IML 2008 Part 2

Hey boys!

So, to say that I was a little wiped out during my blog post yesterday would be an understatement. I was dead tired! I accidentally missed my flight to San Francisco this morning, so that means I have a little extra time before my rescheduled one so that I can update you with a little more IML goodness.

Now, before I start, T Ball sent me this amazing photograph of big bro Steve Cruz and I at the Raging Stallion booth at the Leather Mart, and I couldn't help but post it first. Such a hot pic... :-)

So, here we go again with a few more highlights from my fantastic weekend in Chicago...

Highlight #5: The Grabbies This year, I had the opportunity to be youngest person to ever present an award at the Grabbies! What an honor, huh? I ended up presenting the second and third awards with the help of Jackson Wilde and Erik West.

The Grabbies were a lot of fun. I still get a little star struck from time to time, and being in the room with so many faces from porn is still a little crazy to me. I can't say I didn't love it though :-)

Ben Leon, Scott Tanner, Damien Rios and I being interviewed by Roma

Brent Corrigan and I

Logan and I

The simply amazing Ben Leon

Guy Parker and I... what an awesome boy! :-)

Me and Nicky :-)

Highlight #6: The Fans

I'd have to say having your name called out from behind you, only to have a person come out to you with a printed out photograph, asking for your autograph, has to be one of the most surreal moments a person can experience. It is still absolutely mind blowing to think that I've come this far in this industry. I could never have done it without my fans!

I am so lucky and thankful to have such a great following and I just want you all to know how much I appreciate it! You guys are what makes it worth it...

Thank you to everyone who came to the booth, everyone who reads the blog, everyone who voted, and everyone else who supports me and Raging Stallion in any way... you guys are the best!

So, before I head off to do laundry and get ready, here are a few more random pics from the weekend that I hope you will enjoy...

Alright boys! That's all for now... hope you all have a good one! I have to go get ready for my flight!

IML 2008

Hey guys!

So, I am officially back from the dead!

Well, not technically the dead... more or less just the depraved, kinky, sex crazed madness that was IML 2008 in Chicago, IL.

I have to say, this as my first experience at IML and I absolutely am in love. I'm still fairly new to this industry and there are so many names and faces I want to connect with, and somehow I managed to meet every one of them during this trip...

I'm going to highlight some of my favorite moments from IML, and drop a whole ton of pictures . . . I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them! Anyways, onto the pics!

Highlight #1: Chi Chi LaRue's Skin Trade @ Charlies

I was actually pretty nervous about how this show was going to go. Chi Chi and Howard put a lot of faith in me, as it was my first time I guess you'd say "headlining" a show, and in the company of super stars like Blake Riley, Vinnie D Angelo, Jesse Santana, and fellow Stallion Steve Cruz.

But, I had the BEST time ever that night. It was quite a surprise to find out that I would be dancing there, but I sucked it up and did it and had a great time. Those of you that watched me dance at Charlie's saw RJ Danvers' first ever LIVE dancing gig. Thanks to everyone who came!

Myself, Blake Riley, and if you know their names help me out!

This is my favorite pic from the whole trip! Me, Steve and Ross Hurston

Yup! The Hot Guy That I Love was there and was even sexier in person!

Francesco D'Macho, myself, Ross Hurston and help me with the last guys name!

The always hot Scott Tanner and I

Highlight #2: Raging Stallion Party @ The Shoe / Menergy @ Metro

The following night saw me heading to the Raging Stallion party at The Lucky Horseshoe in Boys Town. I got the chance to meet the super sexy Erik Rhodes for the first time, and he was a genuine sweet heart in every sense of the word. I also got the chance to hang out with Blake Riley and Luke Hass, both of which I haven't seen in months.

After The Shoe, we all headed over to Menergy where Steve Cruz, Jake Deckard, Vinnie De Angelo, Damien Crosse and Ricky Sinz were headlining. Well, it turns out they needed some opening dancers for the night, so Luke Hass and I were volunteered for the job.

Mmmm... Tastes Good!

Jake shaking his ass at the Shoe!

Myself, Blake Riley and Erik Rhodes

Paris and Nicky! Reunited for the Simple Porn Life this week! :-)

Highlight #3 : LeatherMart / Raging Stallion Signings

Despite having a difficult time getting into IML because of my age, Damien Crosse managed to help me bend the rules and we talked our way into the Leather Mart. So we got the chance to walk around and see things that I had never seen before! It was pretty wild to say the least!

Mmmm! Tory Mason and me at Leathermart

Puppy Fight!

Dear Diesel, thanks for peeing on me this weekend. Love, RJ

Me and my wonderful agent, Howard!

Future husbands? Ha ha. Ya never know! Luke Hass and Tory Mason

Myslelf and my best buddy Ryan from the Murray Photography pictures, and a friend of his. Speaking of those photos, Murry was kind enough to send me about a dozen more so expect a few more to be uploaded shortly!

Highlight #4 : Jake Fucking Deckard

I don't think this weekend would have been the same if I hadn't spent so much time with Raging Stallion's 2007 "Man Of The Year" Jake Deckard.

Jake and I hit a lot of the bars and clubs together, including the Military Ball, which we were turned away because of my age. We had a great night anyways, and ended up just hanging out at the bar in the Hyatt Regency.

The last night of the IML weekend was Monday night, with a final party at Excalibur called The Black and Blue Party. Jake and I went together and tore it up all night on the front stage. It was absolutely a stellar night to say the least.

Jake Deckard and I

So, I will be back tomorrow with more highlights from my trip and more fun stories! Have a great week!

Hot Guy That I Love : Ross Hurston @ Hot House

So, I recently was graced with the opportunity to check out a scene in a Hot House movie called "King Size" and it featured the super hot Rafael Alencar and a guy that I'm not all that familiar with... Ross Hurston.

Well, I'm familiar now. The way Rafael puts his fingers in Ross's ass and just pulls his hole apart before fucking him senseless in King Size is hotter than hell.

Ross is another one of those guys that I think was cookie cut just for me... he is perfect in every way.

The hot uncut cock and perfect ass are just icing on the cake.

Check out some more pics of him below, and then check him out in Stark Naked and Head Hunters, both by Hot House.

He's totally worth it!

All I can say is that I hope he is at IML!

IML Preview / Ford Trickery

Well boys, here you have a little teaser of what I'll be wearing all weekend at IML in Chicago.

Pretty fucking hot, huh? I have never worn a harness in my life, but I have to admit... I kinda like it!

Yesterday, I spent the day with Mac20 in Detroit. He and I went to Noir Leather in Royal Oak, MI and he helped me pick out the harness. Well, funny story, when I got carded for using my credit card, the girl behind the counter was like, "This isn't you!" And I said, "Yeah, it was from when I was 16." And she said, "And you've kept it all this time?" And I said, "Well, it wasn't that long ago." And she asked how old I was, so I said 19, and she screamed, "You are gonna be such JAIL BAIT at that leather fest!" It was pretty funny.

Anyways, aside from the new digs, I have a little something I wanted to get off my chest about the Ford Models Contest.

Ford announced the winners of the contest. They can be found here, here and here.

Do you notice anything strange? Perhaps the fact that I have over 8,000 more votes than each of them?

Yeah.

What I have heard is that the contest was nothing more than a scam to get people talking about Ford Models, and to bring traffic to the VMAN, Diesel and CK websites.

I, for one, feel totally taken advantage of. I, along with my fans who voted, really put my heart into this contest because I genuinely wanted to win. I knew somewhere in my heart of hearts that something like this would happen, but I had no idea that it would be this blatant... those guys look drugged out and emaciated.

If you feel like doing something about this, you can contact the people at Ford Models at 212-219-6500, or send an email to The Online Editorial Director, Christopher Bartley, at VMAN right here.

Let them know how you guys took the time to vote, and that they were deceptive and dishonest and you feel taken advantage of. Let them know you don't like scams!

Oh well, hope you all are having a FANTASTIC week, and again I want to say thanks to everyone who took the time to vote for me in the contest. You guys rock!

xoxoxo

Thank You DudeTube!

Well, holy fucking shit is all I can say right about now.

Daily, my blog averages between 1500 to 2000 hits per day. Now, as far as I know, that is pretty damn good for a gay porn blog.

Well, yesterday DudeTube Online gave me a nod on their website with some cool pics (check it out here) and I saw a gigantic spike in traffic... almost 12000 hits in one day! And as of 3 AM EST, I have already reached my daily average...it's only been three hours!

Big shout out to DudeTube for featuring me on your site. You guys rock!

Howdy boys!

Well, I have to say it was another fun weekend in Detroit... same old same old, just hitting up The Works on Saturday with my friends and having a good time!

I got the chance to reconnect with a good friend from high school tonight and we stayed in and watched the season finale of Desperate Housewives.

Uhmm... Brian Kinney is on Desperate Housewives! Yessss!

I am so excited!

Anyways, enjoy the random pics we took tonight, and check back soon for information about that Baltimore event I'll be participating in this summer!

A Whole Bunch of Randoms

Hey guys!

Well, this past Thursday night I went over to my Mom's house and visited with my sister and a bunch of her friends. I had a great time. That's her on the left... see any resemblance?

After my moms I stopped by The Works in Detroit and just chilled there for awhile before calling it a night.

Enjoy the random pics below!

It's Over

Hey guys,

I just wanted to take a quick second before I head to Motor City Comic Con (yay!) to say thank you to everyone who took the time out of their busy lives and schedules to drop a vote for me in the 2008 Ford Models Model Search. It means so much to me.

To have someone in the adult industry gain so many votes in a nation wide competition is incredible. Finishing second over more than a thousand guys is jaw dropping.

I owe it to you guys.

Thank you thank you thank you.

xoxoxo

PS Check out the comment my mom left!

"Ryan...I am very proud of you and your work. You have worked very hard and deserve this opportunity to further your career. Keep up the great work!

Love you lots...

Mom"

Soooo sweet :-)

RJ's Comic Picks Of The Week : Thunderbolts #120 & Wolverine #65

Hey boys!

So, I figured as such a HUGE comic book fan, I wanted to start doing a weekly thing on my blog in dedication to my love for comics. As you know, there is one staple on my blog, which is the "That I Love" series that I do. Well, instead of tying this directly into that, I want to give it it's own section, so what I'm going to do is once a week, after Wednesdays, I'll be making a post called "RJ's Comic Picks Of The Week" and I'll let you know what one or two books I picked up that I enjoyed the most.

So, to start it off, this week my two favorite books that I read were Thunderbolts #120 and Wolverine #65.

Thunderbolts is a book that I'm not all that into usually. Marvel has been releasing one shot story lines to make up for the slow publishing, and it's kind of thrown me off of the series. However, the core storyline in the main part of the book is actually really really great.

The Thunderbolts are basically Marvel's anti heroes. They are a group of villains hired by the government to form a super hero team, and if they fuck around, they basically get their asses kicked. A few issues ago, Bullseye (if you've seen Daredevil, you know), got paralyzed from the neck down after going against his mission. It was a pretty rough scene.

The Thunderbolts story right now is pretty great. This issue reminded me why I liked it so much. It centered around the Green Goblin regaining control of Thunderbolts Mountain after it was taken over, and the insanity that ensued. The Green Goblin has always been one of my favorite villains so it's great to see him get some more prominence in the story line.

The other book that I enjoyed a lot was Wolverine #65. This sees the conclusion of the "Get Mystique" story line that has been running for the past 3 issues. It's a pretty cool story, basically it's Wolverine vs/ Mystique in the middle of the War in Afghanistan, and both of them are out for blood.

The reason I liked it so much was because of the ending. It was just so brutal, and the fight scenes in the book were so intense, you could practically see both Logan and Mystique's blood flying off the page at you. It was sick.

Either way, the last page was amazing. It left me with my jaw on the floor, wondering what the hell was going to happen next. If you didn't read Wolverine this week, go and check it out. It's totally worth your $2.99.

So there you have it! My first "Picks Of The Week"! Hope you enjoyed it guys!

The 5th Floor

So, I heard a rumor that the title of the movie that I worked on with Logan McCree is tentatively The 5th Floor, and will be a sequel to the soon to be released The 4th Floor, starring my good pals Steve Cruz and Jake Deckard.

It might just be a rumor but it's what I heard!

I'm just sayin'...

Murray Photography Pt 3

Hey boys!

Well, there are two photos left from my photo shoot with Murray Photography with my buddy Ryan. Murray said there are a ton more coming! So hopefully I will have some more by tomorrow so we can keep this 2 a day thing going! For now though, enjoy this one!

Anyways, speaking of modeling, Ford Models have changed the rules of VMAN Model Search and the final day for voting is THIS Friday! They really pulled a fast one, huh?

Apparently, a lot of people are unhappy with the way this contest has been going. Ford has changed the rules, sponsors, and prizes numerous times throughout the contest. Not to say that I've lost faith in the contest, but something seems a little sketchy.

Either way, keep up the great work on the voting, and don't stop until the contest is over. I appreciate every single vote! Although Renan jumped way ahead of me, I still think a second place finish is a great way to go out. It's better than third, right?

I'm gonna check with Ryan about the final pic. Until then, enjoy the one above and hopefully you'll see that SUPER hot one soon ;-)

EDIT: So, to protect Ry Guy's privacy, I put the picture onto my DudesNude but set it to private. If you'd like to see it, send an email to rjdanversxxx@yahoo.com and I will give you the private picture password! :-P Just please respect HIS privacy and do not repost the picture anywhere. Thanks guys.

Murray Photography Pt 2

As promised, here are two more pics from the Murray Photography set that I shot with my friend Ryan on Saturday morning.

Murray has asked me back for a second shoot, so after I finish my next Raging Stallion project after IML at the end of this month, I'll be working with him again. I'm sure he's got some really brilliant ideas!

Anyways, check back tomorrow for what I think is the HOTTEST picture of the bunch.

Have a good one boys! Leave some comments on what you think of these two!

Murray Photography Pt 1

Hey boys!

Well, I had a great weekend, to say the least!

It started off with an amazing photo shoot with Murray Grondin on Saturday morning. This is the first time I have done a real photo shoot with another person, and I was lucky enough that it was one of my best friends, Ryan.

All during this week, I'm going to be posting new pictures from the shoot, probably about two to three a day.

So make sure you check back every day for more pics!

Hope you enjoy them, and make sure to leave me some comments about what you think!

Hope you enjoy the little insight into my life boys! :-)

Celebrity Look Alikes

So I was kinda bored tonight and saw this on a friend's MySpace page, and decided to try it out!

It's a celebrity look alike generator. I got Tom Cruise as my #1 with 80% look alike-ness. Is that a compliment? Ha ha. Hal Sparks was cool, as I'm a huge fan of Mikey from Queer As Folk. Hayden Panettierre surprised me for sure! What did surprise me also was that I didn't get Jake Gyllenhaal, as a lot of people tell me I resemble him, and whoever that dude from The Notebook is, Ryan Gosling. I get him a lot too! Anyways, check mine out below!

Anyways, do yours and let me know what it says! :-)

The Return Of The Digi!

Finally! A fresh set of new pics for you guys!

Okay, okay, so they're not XXX rated or anything cool or fun like that. They're just me being a big goof ball with my friend Kearstin's baby puppy Sophie. She is so freakin' adorable! And she was all about me! Maybe she couldn't sniff out that I don't usually like girls, but oh well! The affection was appreciated :-)

I am so glad I got my digital camera repaired (much thanks to Mac20) because I haven't been able to put up new pics since before my last trip to SF with Geoffery Paine. Crazy huh?

Anyways, last night I stopped by Backstreet in Detroit for Dollar Drink Wednesdays and just kinda hung out there all night. Enjoy the goofy pics! Hope everyone is enjoying their week and keep up the great work on the votes! :-)

XTube Ad

Hey boys.

So, Howard from FabScout sent me over this X Tube link today and told me to check out the ad on the page, and BOOM there I was.

I'm a little bothered because the company that used the picture didn't ask for my permission to use the image, but still... any publicity is good publicity right?

And it's a damn good picture!

It was shot by my favorite photographer, Murray Grondin. Speaking of Murray, I am working with him again this Saturday on a very exciting shoot, with one of my best friends. That means I'll have a whole batch of brand new, original pictures for you all in just a few days! I am very much looking forward to working with Murray as the shoots are always a blast and the pictures always turn out phenomenal.

Have a great day boys!

Brother Bears

There are about a million reasons why I love Steve Cruz.

The guy is like my furry, porno big bro who is just too hot for words. He's given me a lot of pointers since I got into this industry on what it takes to be successful and how to really make a name for yourself.

You can probably guess that this blog is heavily influenced by what he has done with his. Steve's blog, as far as I'm concerned, is one of the best and well maintained porn star blogs on the net. He does a great job with it.

So the other day when he asked me if I wanted to participate in his Celebrity Ask Steve Cruz that he is doing on his blog, I happily obliged, and asked him to make a sign with all the filthy, nasty things he wanted to do to me. Check out the response!!!

Well Steve, just so you know, I am ready and waiting with an open mouth.

See you at IML ;-)

xoxoxo

PS My digital camera is finally repaired! EXPECT new pics again soon! :-)

The New RJDanvers.com

So this is great news!

I got a phone call from Howard from FabScout letting me know that the new version of my official website has officially gone live.

Check it out right here!

Those of you who have seen the first version know that it was pretty plain and simple. The new one however is really sleek and has a NEW interview, photo galleries, store, and links to both my blog and web cam. I think it is amazing!

I want to send all the thanks in the world to everyone at Raging Stallion, both in San Francisco and Australia, and Howard from FabScout for making this happen! I am so happy!

Make sure you guys check out the site and let me know what you think!

Paris & Nicky Part 2

I promised and I'm delivering!

My good good good friend Luke Hass and I are going to be working together again on our next Raging Stallion project!

Those of you who have seen Grunts have seen Luke and I in action before. He's one of my best friends, and also hot as fuck, so I can practically guarantee the action is going to be off the charts!

Also, on a little side note, my good friend Incognito Chris (who happens to also be a DJ) has produced some really cool new mix sets. They're fucking hot! If you like electronic or house music, they will be right up your alley.

To download Fuck Me I'm Famous, click here.

To download I Like It Raw, click here.

They're both awesome! If you download them, let me know what you think and I'll pass the comments along, or you can find him on MySpace right here and give him your support! :-)

Iron Man / GTA4

Alright, wow.

So tonight (rather, this morning), I went to go see Iron Man at the midnight showing at the movie theater down the street from me.

I'm not the BIGGEST Iron Man fan in the entire world, mostly because I think in Marvel Comics he is kind of irritating, and the way they portrayed him in Civil War as almost Hitler like really didn't sit well with me.

But...

The Iron Man movie was so good. Wow. Everything from the script, to the actors, to the you'd-only-get-it-if-you-read-the-comics reference to War Machine, the whole entire thing is a comic book movie masterpiece.

And Robert Downey Jr. is just so amazingly rugged and gorgeous in this movie... I suggest you all drop what you are doing right this moment and go watch Iron Man. It's really THAT good.

On another geek note, I bought Grand Theft Auto 4 the day it came out as well and have been enjoying it immensely. Anyone else out there get it and like it so far? I haven't gotten very far, but I really think it's a lot of fun.

Hope everyone is having a good one.

Keep up the great work with the voting :-) We're 400 votes above third place!

Also, I will be announcing my next scene partner shortly. Keep reading!!
