2009 Folsom Favorites Part 2

Sorry for being a bit late on this, boys! I've been busy catching up on homework from the classes I missed after my back to back trips to California. I was pretty lucky I didn't miss any tests or quizzes, and that my professors gave me extra time for missed assignments . . . Hopefully they never stumble upon my blog and wise up to what I was really up to out west ;-)

I spent Friday night partying with what seemed like every porn star under the sun at Chi Chi LaRue and Sister Roma's party, Pop Goes The Zipper. I kept hearing buzz about Pop, but wasn't quite sure what the deal with the party was . . . Kain Warn finally explained it to me, that all proceeds from the event were going towards the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgance (click here for more information about the charity).

The event was absolutely stellar. Chi Chi was amazing and never have I seen a larger gathering of porn stars in one place . . . I ran into everybody I had ever wanted to meet, and then some. I met Paul, my favorite writer from The Sword, who gave me the biggest compliment I think I've ever received when he called me "the biggest thing to come out of Detroit since Madonna" Too fuckin' much :-P I also got the chance to meet Twitter-friends jimyvr and elmysterio which was really cool as well.

Someone I was really fortunate to finally meet while I was out in San Francisco was an up and coming porn star named Rocco Giovanni. If you haven't heard of this stud yet, I'll bet money you'll be hearing about him very soon!

Rocco was featured in Jake Deckard's "Ink Stain", the sequel to the GayVN award winning "Ink Storm". I remember seeing him in that movie and thinking he was scorching hot, and it wasn't long after that we were chatting on Twitter about Britney Spears and comic books (which immediately solidified him as one of my favorite people).

So aside from being one of the hottest tattooed studs in the business, Rocco is genuinely an awesome guy at heart and I'm really looking forward to seeing where his career goes . . . I think he's totally got what it take to go far in this business. He's a total package and I'm glad we got the chance to finally meet :-)


And my last Folsom Favorite is definitely not my least. Huge congrats are in order for David Taylor and Austin Wilde, the two winners of Raging Stallions "Man of the Year" award.

I was lucky enough to film scenes with both of these sexy guys, and each one of them absolutely deserved the title. They're the perfect combination of attitude and sex appeal which is what the whole award is about. I made it into the party and onto the stage just as Chris was announcing the winners, which was really cool as well.

So again, congrats to David Taylor and Austin Wilde. Enjoy your year boys!
