Has anyone else seen the trailer for the new Batman: Arkham Asylum game? It looks incredible. I can't wait for it!

Letdown

So, I know this marks like three blog posts today, but I've been sitting here watching episodes of 30 Rock and waiting all day for Dirt to finish downloading and I'm starting to get bored.

I started on my stack of comics for the week and started with New Avengers #49. I've got to say I was really disappointed with this issue. I can't believe how quickly they wrapped up the Jarvis/baby storyline in one issue. I figured there would be a long, drawn out hunt for Luke and Jessica's baby, and instead it was settled in the most rushed, non dramatic few pages I think I've ever read. It wasn't very Bendis-y. I didn't like it.

Did anyone else read this? What did you guys think of it?

Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a really great week. I didn't really do much of any thing exciting . . . had my first project due in Business Anthropology which I think I did pretty good on, at least I hope. Went to the comic book store yesterday and picked up my books for the week, which are laying here next to me in bed. I'm feeling kinda lazy today so I'll probably just end up staying in bed all day. The weather here really sucks. It's like fifty freakin' below.

Due to the lack of excitement going on in my life, I figured I'd post this 25 Random Things list I filled out for Facebook this morning. I usually completely resent these things because I always have a hard time thinking of 25 things, but I was bored this morning and decided to try it out anyways. . . so here they are!

1. I am far too obsessed with Britney Spears than is normally good for one person. We have the same dice tattoo on our wrists.
2. Despite living in Detroit and going to Wayne State, a lot of people just assume I live in California.
3. I eat fast food at least once a day. I think I just have a really good metabolism, since I haven't been to a gym in about eight months and haven't gained a pound.
4. My younger sister is the female version of me.

6. I don't really like the new Facebook.

8. I miss my friends from GVSU and want to go back to visit soon.

11. I've starred in 14 movies . . . and have lots more to go. I think my favorite one that I made was The Drifter.

13. I have more comic books than I know what to do with.

15. I drive a 2004 Hyundai Accent which I love.

17. I love living in Detroit, and I don't really plan on ever leaving. I never understand why people say there is nothing to do here, because I have so much fun living here. There is SO much to do.

19. I have an addiction to Cetaphil products . . . soap, lotion, cleanser . . . you name it, I use it.
20. I tried out for the season of The Real World that is airing right now, and made it through three rounds of casting before I got cut.

Dress Up

Hey guys,

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. Grant and I went to the Detroit Auto Show this weekend which was really, really cool. I usually go to the show every year, but this year was kind of neat since Grant is such a car buff and watching him get super excited about all the new stuff was really neat. I think my favorite car out of the show was the Cadillac Converj. I think it looks like something out of Spyhunter. Check it out below!


Aside from the Auto Show, I got bored over Grant's house and played leather dress up :-) Grant took some pictures and I got my hands on one of them so far. Once I get more of them, I'm sure a few will find their way on here. Check out the first one below.

Hope everyone is enjoying the start to their weekend. Grant and I are getting ready to go to the Detroit Auto Show today since we didn't make it like we had planned to yesterday. I go every year and I'm really looking forward to it . . . I'll probably post the pics from the show later today once we get home.

Not really a whole lot to write about today, but here is something that I thought was pretty neat. Scott Tanner sent me a copy of the French magazine, Wank, and my furry ass is the centerfold! Kind of neat, and I really like the photo :-P

RIP

I know this is kind of spoiler-y and some comic fans might get mad at me for posting this, but I couldn't really resist since it has some real significance to me . . . in particular, to where my porn name comes from!

Brian Reed, the author of Ms Marvel (aka, Carol Danvers), announced in an interview today that with the upcoming issue #37, he is going to kill off the title character. Click here to read the interview.

I'm really bumming out big time about this! Ms Marvel is by far my favorite super hero. I'm hoping this is one of those Captain America style deaths, where you just know the character will be back eventually. Everyone knows in comic books death isn't ever permanent. . . most of the time, it's just an inconvenience. But Reed seems to really hammer home that Carol is actually going to bite the bullet.

I really hope she doesn't stay dead for long!

Talk

This afternoon, a friend of mine sent me an e-mail with a link to QueerPornNation, a blog I read pretty often. To be honest, I wasn't too surprised that the first thing I saw when I clicked the link were the words, "I Prefer The Bigger RJ Danvers".  After posting the stills from Rear Deliveries this week, I knew it was only a matter of time before people started speculating on my pretty obvious weight loss. Basically, I want to take a second and set the record straight about the weight issue and put to rest any rumors or gossip before they even get a chance to get started.

Like I've said from the beginning, I made this blog so I could interact with my fans and keep them up to speed on the things going on in both my life as a porn star and as a regular guy living in Detroit. That being said, I try to keep the overall tone pretty upbeat and positive. I never wanted to use this blog as a place to vent about the bad things going on in my life, because I figure most of the guys who come here are here to check out pics and videos of hot guys fucking. This is a porn blog after all, right?

But just because I never write about my bad days doesn't mean I don't have them. I am human, after all.

Long story short, I was going through a really rough spot during Folsom last year. I had a lot of stuff going on in my personal life that I didn't share with anyone. I was having issues with a few of my closest friends, I had just totalled my car, I was dealing with school starting back up, my dad was having health problems . . . I was under a lot of stress and it all took it's toll on me. I wasn't sleeping or eating right for awhile, and because of this I lost a lot of weight.

Thankfully, I've moved on since then and all of that is behind me now. I'm in a lot better frame of mind than I was last September, not to mention about 10 pounds heavier. I'm extremely grateful for the concern of QueerPornNation and my fans. Without getting too sappy, I'm really lucky to have people who actually worry about me and notice when something seems off. It's a good feeling. At the same time, I want everyone to know I'm better now and that everything is fine. Hopefully this puts everyone's concerns to rest!

TV Shows That I Love: The Real World Brooklyn

Did anyone else watch The Real World: Brooklyn premiere last week?

There's no denying that I'm basically a huge Real World junkie. And, I have to admit, I totally agree with The Sword when they say that this season of The Real World is pretty much the gayest thing on TV right now. And I love it. This season they have the first transgender person to appear on The Real World, as well as a "former" lesbian and a really hot gay guy. After Denver's self-hating Davis and then two seasons without any gay characters, I think Brooklyn's cast is an awesome change of pace.

Based on my impressions of the cast from the first episode I can say right off the bat my favorites are JD, Sarah and Baya. I can't stand Chet or Ryan at all. And so far, I'm kind of indifferent about the rest of the cast. The season looks pretty much amazing with some potential for some really, really great TV. I can't wait to see what pushes JD to smash that table in the trailer!

If you haven't checked out the first episode yet, you really should. The videos below are some really funny moments between JD and Chet that didn't make it into episode one. I'm really not sure how JD kept his cool during the Chet condom questioning clip. After seeing it, I'm not sure if Chet is gay or just retarded. Finally! News!

Hey guys,

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I didn't do a whole lot, just stayed in with Grant and relaxed. I'm pretty sure i was due for an R&R weekend. The weather here has been crazy. Grant and I left the house maybe once or twice because the roads are covered in ice. On top of the shitty roads, Detroit is going to have temperatures in the single digits this week. Single digits! Walking to all my classes this week is going to be miserable!

Anyways, now for the good news :-)

Yesterday, I got an e-mail from Chris Ward about the next scene I'll be filming for Raging Stallion. I'm not sure if it's written in stone, but I'll be filming in San Francisco during the second weekend of February with Pistol Pete. I think Pistol Pete is super hot, and I'm really, really psyched to work with him. I saw him in a really great video on Damien Crosse and Francesco D'Macho's website, StagHomme. Check out below a few photos of the stud as well as the trailer for his movie, "Armed".

On top of the scene I'll be filming that weekend, I'm also going to be headlining a To The Last Man Release Party at Nob Hill on February 12th. Make sure that if you're in SF that weekend you come out and see me!

New Interview

I can’t remember where or how I first found out about RJ Danvers . Like any healthy male I spend some time on the computer looking at porn. Whether it be pictures or video it usually tends to be more amateur stuff. So it really surprised me when I came across RJ Danvers who is a Raging Stallion exclusive star. I have to admit that since I work at a video store with gay clientele that has a huge gay porn section I am familiar with Raging Stallion. Knowing company names and the star of the moment comes with the territory. Surprisingly I found out about RJ before his more recent explosion and popularity. Not only is RJ super hot but after reading his I found out he is also very charming. After following his career and reading his blog for the later half of this year I decided to try and interview RJ. Being the sweet guy that he is RJ agreed and you can read the interview after the jump.

Was the decision to go into the porn industry and easy one or hard one? Why?

It was a pretty easy one. It was always something I had wanted to do since I saw my first video when I was a kid, but never something I thought I would be able to do. I ended up sending some photos in to Fabscout, and they liked what they saw, eventually forwarding the pics on to Raging Stallion. The rest is history!

What was it like to have to shave to be in your first film?

Definitely not something I enjoyed. Falcon wanted to take me in a different direction, which was fine for the time, but it wasn’t where I wanted to go.

What was it like to shoot your first scene? Were you nervous?

I was actually pretty relaxed, if I remember right. I have always had a bit of an exhibitionist side to me, so being naked or fucking in front of a camera or crew wasn’t all that embarrassing or nerve wracking.

What is it like to be able to be your true hairy self as a Raging Stallion youngest exclusive star?

Amazing! I like being with Stallion, they’ve become like a second family to me. All the other guys are kind of like big brothers to me.

Does your family know your in the porn industry?

Yes, and they are all 100% supportive. I was most nervous about my mom finding out, but when she did, she was more concerned than anything, but once I put her fears to rest she was supportive as well.

What have been your favorite scenes you have shot so far?

Hotter Than Hell with Damien Crosse, To The Last Man with Tristan Phoenix, and The Drifter with Luke Hass. Out of all of them, I think the Drifter is my favorite.

Your blog is a lot of fun and you share a lot of personal pics and stories with your fans. Why did you decide to start blogging?

I’ve been blogging since I was probably 14 or 15, first on LiveJournal. When I started making porn, I switched to Blogger and made my Livejournal private. I haven’t updated the LJ in a while, but the routine of updating the blog is something I’ve really started to love!

What has been some of the strangest request from fans?

Hmm . . . not sure about that! I’d hate to reveal some of the odd requests and have that fan see it posted on here! Ha ha.

Who would you say has the best ass in porn these days? best cock?

Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine relaxing with Grant, and getting stuff done around my house. I'm going to check out a new house tomorrow that I might start renting, which would end up saving me like $100 a month if I end up moving in there.

Grant and I also went and checked out this goth/alternative club underneath a hotel in Detroit called City Club. It was pretty cool. I've never been anywhere like it before and I felt kind of out of place. I think we were the only ones not wearing fishnets or sporting black nail polish, but I still had a pretty good time. They played some cool industrial house music which I like. We stopped by The Works for about a half hour afterward and then went home to crash.

Other than that, not much going on here. I figured I'd let you guys know about some of my scenes and photos that have recently become available on Rear Stable.

2009

Hey guys,

2008 is officially over, and my 2009 started off amazing. I spent New Years Eve at (surprise) Backstreet, partying with my sister and a few of her friends, and my boyfriend, Grant. We didn't make it to The Works like I had initially planned, but I had an awesome time anyways, and I can only hope the rest of the year is as fun as the kickoff :-)

Looking back, 2008 was an amazing year for me. I traveled all over, did and saw things I never thought I would, and met some awesome guys along the way. I was a part of some big projects at Raging Stallion and was nominated for my first major award (I'm still freaking out, he he). I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped make 2008 a year I'll never forget, especially Howard Andrew and Chris Ward. And of course, the fans. Thank you for your never ending support as I try to figure out where I fit in the world of gay porn. I've got the most amazing fans in the industry. You guys rock :-)
