2 Hard Choice Awards!

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven't updated for a few days!

I had a fantastic but busy weekend, flying out to Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon to do a live appearance at Boom Nightclub. I have to say, it was an amazing experience! With the exception of the Manhunt Seven Sexy Sins Tour, this was my first live appearance and it went really well. I was so excited to meet all my fans who came out to see me dance (special thank you and hi to the couple who drove 2 and a half hours from Chicago to see me, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!) and the people from Boom treated great as well. Me and my best friend Matt went and saw Rent tonight at the Detroit Opera House. I loved it! I'm not really much of a theater buff, having only gone to see Legally Blonde with Justin Christopher in New York, but I really liked Rent. Matt and I tried to find the stage door so we could meet some of the cast, but we didn't have any luck and it was too cold outside to wait any longer LOL. Still, a great time!

I've got a busy week ahead of me with a lot of stuff due in class. I'm also getting ready to move in with Grant by the end of the week, so I'll be busy moving stuff from my house into his. Lucky we only live a few miles apart! I've got to catch up on Dollhouse and Desperate Housewives. I've also become hooked on the Courtney Cox show, Dirt. I finished Season 1 this weekend, and I'm halfway through Season 2 already. I love it!

TV Shows That I Love: Dollhouse

Hey guys,

Hope everyone had a great Valentines Day. I'm at my mom's house right now and just got caught up on the first episode of the new Joss Whedon show, Dollhouse.

Overall, I thought it was really, really neat. I'm a big fan of Joss's Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Astonishing X Men, and I can already tell I'm going to be hooked on this show for the long haul. Just got home a little while ago from the To The Last Man release party at Nob Hill in San Francisco. The event was pretty low key and I had a really good time meeting some fans, giving away DVD's and signing autographs. Chris Ward, Scott Tanner and Pistol Pete were there as well.

Rock 'n Roll

Is anybody else as excited about the new season of Heroes as I am?

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I really have enjoyed this show pretty much from the get go. Sure, it hasn't been perfect . . . but honestly, I kind of enjoyed all the things critics seemed to get down on. For example, the never ending introduction of new characters with cool powers was like seeing all my favorite comic book characters brought to life every week. I loved it.

I do agree that with the last two seasons the show lost focus, but after seeing last nights episode my faith has been completely renewed that this season is going to be amazing. Although I thought some parts didn't make sense (how did the guards on the plane not hear Claire and Peter setting everyone free, or why didn't Peter just fly out of the plane as it was crashing?), I thought overall the season premiere was really, really good.

What did you think of the Heroes premiere?
